Card Activation

You can activate your Citi credit card online at Citi.com/Activate, through the Citi Mobile® App, or by calling 1-800-950-5114. Most activations take less than 5 minutes.
Activation is usually instant. Once you submit your card details, your card is ready to use immediately for in-store, online, and mobile wallet purchases.
Yes. Every new card — whether it’s a replacement, renewal, or upgrade — must be activated before use.
No. Your card must be activated before you can make any purchases, cash advances, or online payments.

Account & Login

Visit www.citi.com and click Register. You’ll need your card number, SSN, and personal details to enroll.
Use the Forgot User ID / Password links on the sign-in page to recover your credentials, or call Citi customer service for assistance.
Yes. You can manage multiple Citi cards under a single Citi Online account.

Payments

You can pay online through Citi Online, the Citi Mobile® App, by phone, by mail, in-branch, or via Western Union. Online and mobile app payments are the fastest and free.
Online and phone payments made before 5 PM ET typically post the same day. Mail payments can take 5–7 business days.
Yes. Set up AutoPay through Citi Online or the Mobile App to automatically pay your minimum, statement balance, or a custom amount each month.
No. Online and mobile app payments through Citi are always free.

Security

Citi uses bank-grade encryption, fraud monitoring, and two-factor authentication to keep your account secure.
Call Citi immediately at 1-800-950-5114 to report the card and request a replacement. You can also lock your card instantly through the Citi Mobile® App.
Sign in to Citi Online, go to ProfileSecurity, and turn on Two-Step Authentication.
Never. Citi will never ask for your password, PIN, or full card number via email, text, or unsolicited phone calls. Report suspicious messages to spoof@citi.com.

Rewards & Benefits

Sign in to Citi Online or the Citi Mobile® App and go to the Rewards section to see your points, cash back, or miles.
Redeem through Citi Online or the app for statement credits, gift cards, travel, or merchandise.
Reward expiration varies by card. Check your cardmember agreement for specific terms.
